Who should take the scan?
We invite all European companies with 10+ employees in the tech and digital sector, ranging from startups to SMEs or large corporations, to participate. Whether you’re taking the scan for the first time or returning to measure your progress, this tool is designed to provide value at every stage of your Inclusion journey.
The questions focus on your company’s Inclusion policies and practices, so we recommend that a member from your executive team (including C-level leaders and directors), HR leaders, or Inclusion specialists complete the scan. It doesn’t matter how much or how little you’re already doing on Inclusion—this scan is a valuable tool to track progress and uncover opportunities for growth.
I’m not a C-level or Inclusion Lead, but I think my company should participate. Can I take the scan?
Absolutely! While the scan is best completed by HR leaders, Inclusion specialists, or executive team members, anyone can champion the importance of participation. Share the details of the scan (this page) with your leadership team or Inclusion committee to encourage involvement.
What does it cover?
The Inclusion Scan is structured around proven research frameworks, developed with Techleap, Booking.com, Taskforce D&I by NLdigital, and the University of Amsterdam. It explores three key areas:

How much time do I need?
The Inclusion Scan takes approximately 15 minutes. It’s designed to be quick, with a mix of open-ended, multiple-choice, and closed questions.
What happens after I take the scan?
You’ll receive a customized Inclusion Maturity Report with clear next steps to strengthen your organization’s Inclusion impact.
Do I need to prepare anything in advance before taking the scan?
No preparation needed! Just come ready to answer each question openly and honestly. Whether you’re confident in your current Inclusion efforts or just starting out, your answers will provide a clear and accurate picture of where your company stands.
Why should I redo the scan if I’ve already done it?
Good question! Taking the scan again allows you to measure year-over-year progress, assess the effectiveness of your Inclusion strategies, and discover new opportunities for growth. It ensures your efforts remain aligned with evolving goals and industry trends, keeping your organization ahead.
When will I get the results?
After completing the Inclusion Scan you’ll immediately receive your personalized Inclusion Maturity Assessment. This in-depth report compares your DEI practices with similar companies and identifies opportunities for growth.
And you’ll also receive a tailored Roadmap and Action Plan to guide your next steps, set clear goals, and help you progress to the next Inclusion maturity level.
If your company has previously completed the Inclusion Scan (e.g., in 2024), the report will also include insights into your progress compared to your last assessment, highlighting improvements and areas that need further development.
What if we score poorly on the scan?
A low score is not a failure—it’s a foundation for growth. The Inclusion Scan highlights areas of improvement and provides a roadmap to help you take the next steps toward meaningful change.
What happens if we don’t finish the scan?
If you need to step away, no problem—you can save your progress and return later to complete it. However, submitting the scan ensures you receive your personalized Inclusion report and actionable next steps to guide your journey.
